Greystar Management Services seeks a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to maintain and support our residential properties while working for a recognized leader in property management and real estate services.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for the upkeep and repair of apartment community facilities and systems. Your work will ensure that residents enjoy safe, well-maintained living environments across our Albuquerque properties.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems, appliances, and equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors when specialized services are needed
- Inspect units and common areas to identify maintenance needs
- Follow safety protocols and comply with all applicable building codes and regulations
What We're Looking For
- Experience in apartment maintenance or multi-family residential property upkeep
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to be on-call for emergency repairs as needed
