Pike Corporation is seeking a Class B Lineman to join our team in Fort Worth, Tarrant County. This full-time position offers hands-on work constructing, maintaining, and repairing overhead electrical distribution infrastructure. You'll take on a critical role in keeping the power grid operational while maintaining the highest safety standards.
About the Role
As a B Lineman specializing in overhead work, you'll be the skilled professional responsible for building and repairing the electrical distribution systems that serve our communities. You'll work on both energized and de-energized powerlines, responding to operational demands and customer needs. Your work may require travel to different job sites across states as projects and operational requirements dictate. You will report directly to the Foreman and work as part of a safety-conscious team.
What You'll Do
- Construct and repair overhead electrical distribution systems with precision and attention to detail
- Perform work on energized and de-energized powerlines following all applicable safety protocols
- Travel to various job locations, including out-of-state assignments, to support project delivery
- Follow established procedures and best practices for electrical utility work
- Collaborate with your Foreman and team to meet project timelines and safety goals
- Maintain equipment and tools in safe, working condition
What We're Looking For
- Class B Lineman certification or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience working with overhead electrical distribution systems
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and risk management
- Physical ability to perform fieldwork, climb poles, and work at heights
- Willingness to travel to different job sites as needed
- Ability to take direction from a Foreman and work effectively in a team environment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
