About the Role

The Trimmer B (Duke) is a skilled mid-level climbing and trimming position that supports either a conventional crew or a bucket crew for Pike Corporation in Cincinnati, Hamilton County. In this on-site role, you will handle the majority of aerial tasks required to keep trees clear of utility infrastructure, working safely at height while building toward the most advanced removal work. This is a full-time, in-person position; remote work is not available.

Key Responsibilities

• Make safety your top priority, following all crew protocols and safe-work practices on every job.
• Perform the bulk of aerial trimming and climbing duties, excluding the most demanding tree removals and overhang removals.
• Support your crew from the bucket or as a climber, depending on the day's assignment and crew configuration.
• Maintain and properly use climbing gear, hand tools, and aerial equipment.
• Communicate clearly with teammates to coordinate work zones and protect the public.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a skilled climber or trimmer at a mid-level capacity.
• Comfort performing aerial tasks safely at height in varied weather and field conditions.
• A strong, consistent commitment to safety standards and crew accountability.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a conventional crew or bucket crew.
• Willingness to work on-site in the Cincinnati, Hamilton County area.
