CompHealth is seeking a dedicated Physician (MD/DO) specializing in Geriatrics to join our healthcare team in El Sobrante, California. This full-time position offers the opportunity to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to older adults in one of the East Bay's most welcoming communities.

About the Role

As a Geriatrics Physician with CompHealth, you'll provide comprehensive medical care to senior patients while building meaningful relationships within our diverse patient population. Based in El Sobrante and serving the broader San Pablo and Contra Costa County region, this role combines clinical excellence with the personal satisfaction of improving quality of life for older adults during their most vulnerable years.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions affecting older adults
• Develop individualized treatment plans with careful attention to polypharmacy, age-related physiology, and functional status
• Conduct comprehensive geriatric assessments including cognitive screening and functional evaluations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including nurses, social services, and specialists to ensure coordinated, holistic patient support
• Coordinate care transitions to prevent complications, hospitalizations, and readmissions
• Partner with patients and families to support shared decision-making aligned with individual values and goals
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation and ensure continuity of care

What We're Looking For

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Current, unrestricted medical license in California
• Board certification or eligibility in Geriatric Medicine preferred
• Demonstrated passion for geriatric patient care and older adult health outcomes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative approach to interdisciplinary team-based care
• Knowledge of evidence-based geriatric medicine practices
