Rental Infrastructure Sr Analyst, Zoning and Electrical

Home Depot is seeking a Rental Infrastructure Senior Analyst specializing in Zoning and Electrical to join our team in Atlanta, Fulton County. This is a full-time position where you'll drive regulatory compliance and infrastructure solutions for our rental business operations.

About the Role

As a Senior Analyst focused on zoning and electrical infrastructure, you'll serve as the go-to expert for complex regulatory matters affecting our rental business. You'll own strategic oversight of infrastructure projects that require deep knowledge of local zoning codes, electrical standards, and permitting requirements. This role involves collaborating across business units to identify regulatory obstacles, develop compliant solutions, and accelerate project timelines in a fast-moving retail environment.

What You'll Do

• Analyze zoning regulations and electrical codes to assess feasibility of rental infrastructure expansion and site improvements
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to secure necessary permits, variances, and regulatory approvals for rental facilities
• Provide expert guidance to rental operations teams on compliance requirements and best practices
• Develop and maintain documentation systems that track regulatory status and project history
• Serve as the primary liaison with municipal planning departments, building officials, and electrical inspectors
• Mentor junior analysts and share specialized knowledge across the organization
• Support scaling efforts by identifying patterns in regulatory challenges and creating repeatable solutions

What We're Looking For

• Extensive background in municipal zoning regulations, electrical codes (NEC), or building permitting processes
• Proven track record managing complex regulatory projects and stakeholder communications
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to synthesize dense technical information
• Experience in the retail, real estate, or construction industry preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with government agencies and internal teams
• Ability to lead initiatives independently while managing competing priorities
• Familiarity with Atlanta and Georgia-specific building codes and zoning frameworks is advantageous
