Managing Director – Health and Benefits Consulting

WTW is hiring a Managing Director - Health and Benefits Consulting in Minneapolis, Hennepin County. This senior leadership position offers the opportunity to shape how major organizations approach employee health, benefits strategy, and workforce solutions.

About the Role

As Managing Director of Health and Benefits Consulting, you will partner with C-suite executives at enterprise clients to navigate complex benefits challenges and design transformational health and benefits programs. You'll direct high-impact consulting engagements, drive thought leadership, and expand WTW's consulting footprint in the Minneapolis market and beyond.

What You'll Do

• Lead large-scale, strategic client engagements focused on health and benefits transformation, employee experience, and workforce risk management
• Develop customized, innovative solutions that address client business objectives around benefits design, plan administration, and employee wellness
• Own and grow the client relationship pipeline, identifying expansion opportunities with existing clients and pursuing new business development in the market
• Mentor and develop consulting team members, fostering a high-performance culture
• Contribute thought leadership and serve as an external advisor on emerging benefits and health trends
• Maintain deep client relationships and serve as a trusted strategic partner

What We're Looking For

• 12+ years of progressive experience in benefits consulting, health insurance, or employee benefits
• Proven track record managing enterprise client relationships and complex consulting engagements
• Strong business development acumen and ability to grow a client portfolio
• Deep expertise in health and benefits strategy, plan design, and plan administration
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strategic thinking and ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions
• Bachelor's degree (advanced degree or relevant professional designation a plus)
