About the Role
As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Headway, you'll provide individual and group counseling services to clients in our Philatelic, Alameda County location. This full-time position offers the opportunity to build a thriving practice while supporting clients through mental health challenges, behavioral change, and personal growth. You'll earn up to $117.73 per hour while maintaining the clinical autonomy and professional growth that defines rewarding counseling work.
What You'll Do
- Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community resources to support holistic client care
- Monitor client progress, adjust treatment strategies as needed, and prepare discharge summaries
- Maintain professional ethical standards and stay current with industry best practices
What We're Looking For
- Active California Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in good standing
- Demonstrated experience in counseling and mental health service delivery
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
