Asset Protection Specialist

About the Role

As an Asset Protection Specialist, you're the frontline defense against theft, fraud, and operational vulnerabilities. You'll serve as a trusted partner to store leadership, identifying and mitigating financial losses through proactive monitoring, evidence analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. Your work ensures Home Depot maintains the highest standards of loss prevention while supporting an honest, compliant workplace culture.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and review surveillance footage and exception reports to identify patterns of loss, unauthorized transactions, and potential theft
• Investigate suspected incidents of inventory shrinkage, employee dishonesty, and customer fraud with attention to detail and confidentiality
• Utilize asset protection tools and systems to track suspicious activity and document findings for corrective action
• Support and communicate loss prevention strategies to store management and associates
• Partner with store operations to ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations
• Conduct audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities in processes, policies, and physical security measures
• Work across single or multiple store locations as needed to execute loss prevention initiatives
• Maintain detailed records and reports that support internal investigations and decision-making
