The Unum Scholar Intern program welcomes talented individuals eager to explore careers in the benefits and insurance industry. Working within Unum Group's operations, you'll support cross-functional teams on real business projects, gain exposure to various departments, and develop a deeper understanding of how employee benefits serve millions of families.
What You'll Do
- Assist with research, data analysis, and project work across business units
- Support claims processing, customer service, or business operations teams
- Help develop presentations and documentation for internal stakeholders
- Learn about employee benefits products, policies, and industry practices
- Collaborate with mentors and colleagues on assigned initiatives
- Contribute to process improvements and special projects as needed
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited university
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Interest in insurance, benefits, finance, or related fields
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems
- Professional demeanor and commitment to customer service excellence
