About the Role

The University of Pikeville seeks a dedicated Open Rank Professor of Business Administration to contribute expertise, mentorship, and scholarly leadership to our student-centered community. You'll teach courses that prepare graduates for careers in business, entrepreneurship, and organizational leadership while advancing your field through research and service.

What You'll Do

• Develop and teach business administration courses that engage students in critical thinking and practical application
• Mentor students in their academic journey and career preparation
• Conduct research or scholarship within your area of expertise in business administration
• Serve on departmental committees and contribute to institutional initiatives
• Build relationships with the regional business community to create internship and networking opportunities
• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen the Coleman College's academic programs and student outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Doctoral degree in Business Administration, related field, or equivalent professional expertise
• Demonstrated success teaching business administration at the higher education level
• Strong grasp of business fundamentals and depth in at least one specialization
• Commitment to student-centered, collaborative teaching approaches
• Record of professional development and scholarly contribution to the field
