About the Role

As a senior pricing strategist, you'll partner with capture leaders and proposal teams on Maximus's most visible and strategic bid opportunities. Your analytical expertise will directly influence our competitive positioning and success rate on high-value proposals.

What You'll Do

• Conduct competitive cost analysis and develop price-to-win models for large-scale proposal efforts
• Build comprehensive pricing strategies that balance win probability with profitability and feasibility
• Perform sensitivity analyses to evaluate how pricing scenarios impact proposal competitiveness and scoring outcomes
• Research market conditions and forecast competitive responses to anticipate pricing pressures and opportunities
• Interpret customer solicitations to identify cost drivers, contract requirements, and pricing implications
• Assess pricing risks and develop mitigation recommendations for leadership review
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and technical teams to ensure proposed pricing is operationally sound
• Document and communicate pricing assumptions and rationale for proposal teams and executive stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in proposal pricing, cost analysis, or pricing strategy—ideally in government contracting or B2B environments
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools
• Strong grasp of pricing methodology, competitive strategy, and margin management
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex pricing analysis into clear business recommendations
