About the Role

This part-time teaching position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on students' educational experiences through specialized instruction and inclusive support. Working within the Beech Grove, Indiana school community, you'll serve students in resource rooms and inclusive classroom settings, adapting instruction to meet individual needs and fostering academic growth.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct, evidence-based instruction to students in small group and individual settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support student inclusion and success in mainstream classrooms
• Design and adapt lessons and assessments to address individual learning goals
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Communicate regularly with families and general education staff about student development
• Maintain detailed records of student performance and interventions
• Contribute to IEP development and implementation

What We're Looking For

• Valid Indiana special education teaching license or willingness to obtain certification
• Experience teaching students with diverse learning needs and disabilities
• Strong knowledge of special education law, accommodations, and differentiated instruction
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to student-centered, inclusive educational practices
• Ability to work effectively in a part-time capacity within established school schedules
