Join Hartford HealthCare Medical Group as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Primary Care at our Rocky Hill, Hartford County office. We're seeking a dedicated RN to deliver quality patient care in a dynamic primary care setting and make a meaningful difference in our community's health.
About the Role
As a full-time Registered Nurse in Primary Care, you'll provide direct patient care in the outpatient setting, working Monday through Friday. Hours typically run between 8am and 5:30pm, with one shift weekly that runs from 10:30am to 7pm. You'll partner with physicians, nurse practitioners, and care teams to support patients' health and wellness goals.
What You'll Do
- Perform patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and health screenings during primary care visits
- Educate patients on preventive care, medication management, and chronic disease self-management
- Assist with procedures and diagnostic testing as needed in the clinical setting
- Coordinate care between patients, primary care providers, and specialists
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Contribute to smooth clinical workflows and positive patient experiences
What We're Looking For
- Current Connecticut RN license (or eligibility for Connecticut licensure)
- Clinical experience in primary care, family medicine, or general nursing settings
- Strong assessment and patient communication skills
- Ability to prioritize in a busy, varied environment
- Commitment to quality care, patient safety, and professional excellence
- Collaborative spirit and flexibility in a team-based healthcare setting
