This is a specialized travel assignment in diagnostic and interventional radiology, ideal for radiologic technologists seeking temporary placement with reliable scheduling in a dynamic hospital environment. The position provides hands-on clinical experience while supporting patient care and diagnostic imaging operations.
What You'll Do
- Perform diagnostic and interventional radiography procedures following established clinical protocols
- Operate radiographic imaging equipment with precision and attention to image quality
- Position patients and equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Support physician teams during interventional radiology procedures
- Collaborate professionally with clinical staff and communicate clearly with patients
- Ensure equipment maintenance and operational readiness
What We're Looking For
- Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Current CPR certification
- Virginia state radiology license or license eligibility
- Minimum 1–2 years of radiologic technology experience
- Interventional or general radiology background strongly preferred
- Ability to work consistent day shifts (5 shifts per week, 8 hours each)
- Strong patient care orientation and communication ability
- Flexibility and adaptability in a temporary healthcare assignment
