EY-Parthenon – Strategy and Execution – Growth Platforms – AI/ML Engineer – Sr Associate/Consultant

EY-Parthenon is hiring a Sr Associate/Consultant AI/ML Engineer to join our Strategy and Execution division, focused on Growth Platforms. This full-time position is based in Boston, and offers the opportunity to architect machine learning solutions that drive growth strategy for enterprise clients across multiple industries.

About the Role

As a Sr Associate/Consultant in AI and Machine Learning Engineering, you'll lead the design and implementation of AI-driven growth strategies and machine learning systems for complex enterprise challenges. You'll work across cross-functional consulting teams to translate business requirements into scalable, production-grade ML models and platforms that accelerate client growth trajectories.

What You'll Do

• Architect and deploy machine learning solutions that support growth platform strategies, including predictive analytics, recommendation engines, and optimization models
• Lead end-to-end ML projects from problem definition through model evaluation and deployment, ensuring alignment with client business objectives
• Collaborate with strategy consultants, data engineers, and product teams to translate growth hypotheses into technical requirements and ML implementations
• Design data pipelines, feature engineering strategies, and model infrastructure that support rapid experimentation and scaling
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence across AI/ML initiatives within the Growth Platforms practice
• Present technical findings, model performance, and growth insights to C-suite and executive stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience building and deploying machine learning models in production environments
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or equivalent)
• Deep knowledge of data science fundamentals: statistical modeling, feature engineering, model evaluation, and validation
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, data science, or related consulting roles
