About the Role
Join Carle Orthopedics and Sports in Champaign for a travel assignment in diagnostic radiology. You'll work 40 hours per week on day shifts, operating advanced imaging equipment and supporting the orthopedic and sports medicine team. This role combines technical expertise with patient-centered care in a specialized healthcare setting focused on musculoskeletal health.
What You'll Do
- Operate radiographic equipment and imaging systems with technical precision
- Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Maintain complete and accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, orthopedic specialists, and clinical staff
- Follow all radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Support the orthopedic clinic in delivering excellent patient care
What We're Looking For
- Current, valid radiologic technologist certification or state licensure
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology
- Experience in radiographic imaging
- Excellent patient communication and care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a clinical team environment
