About the Role
As an Activities Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our community, designing and implementing programs that enrich the daily lives of our residents. Your energy and creativity will help establish a vibrant environment where seniors experience connection, purpose, and joy. This part-time position offers the opportunity to make a direct, visible impact on the quality of life for the residents you serve.
What You'll Do
- Plan, organize, and lead recreational activities, events, and social programs tailored to resident interests and abilities
- Assist residents in participating in fitness, wellness, cultural, and leisure activities throughout the community
- Maintain activity schedules and communicate program information to residents and staff
- Set up equipment and spaces for events, classes, and group gatherings
- Support residents in building connections with one another and the broader community
- Track attendance and gather feedback to continuously improve programming
- Work collaboratively with the lifestyle team to coordinate special events and seasonal celebrations

- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Flexibility and willingness to support various types of activities and programs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Creative mindset with the ability to adapt activities to diverse needs and preferences
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Compensation & Schedule
This is a part-time position offering $15–$17 per hour, depending on experience.
