About the Role

As a Major Account Executive, you are responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing significant opportunities with mid-market and enterprise clients. You'll own the full sales cycle—from discovery through implementation—serving as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts seeking digital transformation, cloud services, and security solutions. Your consultative approach will directly influence customer success and retention across your region.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute territory strategy to capture new accounts while growing existing customer relationships
  • Conduct needs assessment and competitive positioning with C-suite and decision-making stakeholders
  • Present customized solution recommendations aligned with customer business objectives and technical requirements
  • Negotiate contracts, manage deal flow, and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Coordinate with product specialists, customer success, and implementation teams to ensure customer adoption and long-term satisfaction
  • Maintain detailed account intelligence and sales pipeline visibility through CRM and reporting systems

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of enterprise software or SaaS sales experience, ideally in technology infrastructure, CDN, cloud platforms, or security solutions
  • Proven track record closing six-figure deals and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Strong business acumen; ability to translate technical capabilities into customer ROI and business value
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build executive relationships and influence buying committees
  • Self-directed, coachable, and driven by competition and measurable results
  • Willingness to travel within the Northeast Region as needed
