Join Johnson Health Tech Companies as a Commercial Account Manager–Fitness Equipment at our Ann Arbor location. In this full-time position, you'll drive sales growth and build strategic partnerships with commercial fitness facilities, health clubs, and corporate wellness centers throughout the region.
About the Role
As a Commercial Account Manager for fitness equipment, you'll serve as the dedicated relationship manager for our commercial fitness clients, from initial contact through project completion and ongoing support. You'll combine consultative selling expertise with project coordination to expand our market presence and help facility owners select the right equipment solutions for their businesses.
What You'll Do
- Prospect and develop relationships with commercial fitness facilities, health clubs, corporate wellness centers, and hospitality properties
- Conduct site assessments and needs analysis to recommend customized fitness equipment solutions
- Present product offerings and deliver demonstrations to facility owners and decision-makers
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including proposal development and contract negotiation
- Coordinate with installation and support teams to ensure successful equipment delivery and deployment
- Maintain and grow existing accounts through service excellence, support, and strategic upsell opportunities
- Track sales activity and pipeline progress using company systems and tools
- Develop expertise in commercial fitness industry trends, facility design, and competitive equipment offerings
- Travel to customer locations regularly for meetings, site visits, and facility assessments
What We're Looking For
- Proven success in commercial sales or account management roles
- Strong consultative selling skills and customer relationship management ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated negotiation experience and comfort engaging with business decision-makers
- Self-directed work ethic with strong organizational and time management capabilities
- Professionalism, integrity, and reliability in all client and internal interactions
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly to customer sites
- Experience in fitness equipment sales, B2B sales, or related industries is valued
