About the Role
As a Policy Development Analyst II at Maximus, you'll support policy alignment and organizational efficiency across our teams. This hands-on position focuses on examining workflows, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing strategies that strengthen both compliance and productivity. You'll partner with cross-functional colleagues to deliver measurable, lasting results.
What You'll Do
- Assess operational patterns and conduct efficiency studies to identify opportunities aligned with client policy requirements and contractual commitments
- Evaluate current procedures for adherence to policy frameworks and internal performance expectations
- Track performance metrics and document findings with actionable recommendations for improvement
- Design and execute strategic initiatives that support productivity objectives while maintaining service quality and compliance standards
- Work with stakeholders to implement approved improvements and track their effectiveness
- Deliver data-informed analysis to support decision-making and continuous operational enhancement
What We're Looking For
- Analytical capability with a track record of examining complex processes and developing practical solutions
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—for documenting findings and presenting insights clearly
- Familiarity with data analysis and performance measurement practices
- Ability to balance multiple initiatives and work collaboratively across departments
- Background in policy compliance, process improvement, operations analysis, or similar field preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
