As a Senior Attorney with the State of Florida, you'll serve as legal counsel on complex criminal law matters and false claims litigation. What You'll Do
- Provide legal counsel and representation on criminal law matters and false claims cases
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and memoranda
- Appear and represent the State in state and federal courts
- Manage complex litigation involving fraud investigations and criminal statutes
- Advise agency officials on legal implications of proposed actions and policies
- Coordinate with law enforcement and other government agencies on multi-party litigation
- Maintain detailed case files and legal documentation in compliance with state standards
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar
- Demonstrated experience in criminal law, litigation, or false claims matters
- Strong legal writing and research capabilities
