About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Waco, you'll provide compassionate, skilled patient care in a specialized rehabilitation environment. What You'll Do

• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and manage acute care needs within the rehabilitation setting
• Administer medications and perform clinical procedures following established protocols and best practices
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Document patient progress, clinical observations, and interventions with accuracy and timeliness
• Educate patients and families about medications, conditions, and discharge planning goals
• Support patients' rehabilitation progress and coordinate care with physical, occupational, and speech therapy services
• Advocate for patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout their recovery

What We're Looking For

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
• Clinical experience in acute care, rehabilitation, hospital, or related healthcare environments
• Proficiency in patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, and medical procedures
• Strong documentation and communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively
• Compassionate approach to patient care with commitment to evidence-based nursing practice
• Ability to prioritize multiple patients and adapt to dynamic healthcare environments
