JP Euro is hiring a Full-Time BMW Master Technician Mechanic in Altoona. If you're an experienced technician ready to advance your career diagnosing and repairing premium European vehicles, we want to hear from you. This role offers $50–$65 per hour based on experience, relocation assistance, and the opportunity to work on world-class imports at a dedicated European auto repair shop.
About the Role
As a BMW Master Technician Mechanic at JP Euro, you'll take the lead on complex diagnostic and repair work for BMW and other European luxury vehicles. You'll be the expert customers and junior technicians rely on—troubleshooting sophisticated electrical and mechanical systems, performing detailed inspections, and executing repairs with precision and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair BMW engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, and brake systems using advanced diagnostic equipment
- Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and communicate findings to customers and management
- Execute factory-standard repairs and maintenance with attention to detail and quality
- Lead and mentor junior technicians, sharing expertise and troubleshooting techniques
- Manage multiple vehicles simultaneously while maintaining deadlines and safety standards
- Stay current with BMW technical bulletins, recalls, and software updates
- Document all work accurately using shop management systems
What We're Looking For
- BMW Master Technician certification or equivalent hands-on experience with German luxury vehicles
- Proven expertise diagnosing and repairing complex electrical and mechanical systems
- Proficiency with scan tools and diagnostic equipment for BMW models
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to technical accuracy
- Ability to work independently and mentor other technicians
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to customer satisfaction
