Certified Mobile Notary Service is hiring a full-time Mobile Notary Professional in Chicago, Cook County to deliver convenient, on-demand notarial services directly to our clients. As a trusted notary signing professional, you'll build relationships with individuals and businesses who need secure, timely document authentication.
About the Role
You'll serve as a mobile notary professional, traveling to client locations throughout Chicago and surrounding areas to provide witness and notarization services. This role combines professional expertise with client-facing service—each engagement requires precision, trustworthiness, and a commitment to legal compliance.
What You'll Do
- Travel to clients' homes, offices, or designated locations to perform notarial acts and witness document signings
- Verify client identities thoroughly and confirm their willingness to sign documents
- Maintain detailed records of all notarial transactions in accordance with state regulations
- Ensure all documents are properly executed and certified with your notary seal
- Manage your own schedule, confirming appointments and responding promptly to client requests
- Communicate clearly with clients to explain the notarization process and address questions
- Stay current with Illinois notary laws and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
- Active notary public commission in Illinois (required)
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in every transaction
- Willingness to travel throughout the Chicago area regularly
