Americare is hiring part-time caregivers to serve veteran clients in the Morgan Hill area and surrounding Santa Clara County communities. If you're compassionate, reliable, and ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who've served our country, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

As a part-time caregiver at Americare, you'll provide direct, in-home support to veteran clients. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work with a population that deeply values quality care. Our veteran clients receive premium care placement, and experienced caregivers often enjoy higher earnings and consistent work.

What You'll Do

• Assist veterans with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility support
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
• Help with medication reminders, light housekeeping, and meal preparation as needed
• Monitor client health and report changes to Americare management
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the care team
• Respect client dignity, privacy, and independence at all times

What We're Looking For

• Genuine passion for serving veterans and seniors
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliability, punctuality, and professional demeanor
• Physical ability to assist with basic mobility and personal care
• Valid driver's license and transportation (preferred)
• Caregiver experience or certification is a plus but we'll train the right person
• Background check required
