The New Graduate Registered Nurse Residency Program at Mission Hospital is an intensive, supportive pathway that equips you with the clinical knowledge and professional foundation you need to succeed in acute care nursing. You'll work alongside experienced nurses and interdisciplinary teams, gaining real-world experience while developing the judgment and independence that define excellent bedside care.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, monitoring, and communication with patients and families
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other clinical staff to deliver safe, effective treatment
• Document patient information accurately and manage electronic health records
• Administer medications and perform clinical procedures within your scope of practice
• Learn and apply evidence-based practices and hospital protocols under structured guidance
• Participate in unit-based education, journal clubs, and professional development activities

What We're Looking For

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina or ability to obtain
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care
• Willingness to learn and openness to feedback
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
