Fiber Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a full-time, 13-week assignment in Falmouth, Maine. This travel position offers the chance to deliver direct patient care in a clinical rehabilitation setting while building valuable experience in a supportive team environment.
About the Role
You'll work alongside licensed physical therapists, helping patients progress through their treatment plans and achieve meaningful recovery outcomes. This is hands-on clinical work—assisting patients with prescribed exercises, monitoring progress, and creating an environment where healing happens.
What You'll Do
- Assist with patient evaluations and implementation of therapeutic exercises
- Support patients through functional mobility training and rehabilitation activities
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas and clinical equipment
- Document patient sessions and progress accurately
- Teach patients home exercise programs and proper movement techniques
- Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout care
- Communicate regularly with therapists and the clinical team
What We're Looking For
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification
- Demonstrated clinical competency in therapeutic techniques
- Strong interpersonal and patient care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals

- Adaptability in fast-paced clinical environments

Schedule: Daytime hours, five 8-hour shifts weekly
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Falmouth, Maine
