About the Role
As a Heavy Equipment Operator with WM, you'll be essential to our daily operations, operating heavy machinery safely and efficiently across waste and resource management services. What You'll Do
- Safely operate heavy machinery for waste management and site operations
- Conduct pre-operation equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns immediately
What We're Looking For
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and/or heavy equipment operator certification
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in construction or waste management
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and compliance
- Reliable, punctual attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
