Join CoolSys as a full-time HVAC/R Service Technician serving light commercial clients throughout Houston and Harris County. We're looking for a skilled technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial cooling and refrigeration systems while delivering exceptional customer service.
About the Role
This position offers hands-on technical work with commercial HVAC/R equipment across the Houston area. You'll be the backbone of our service operations, solving complex system problems and keeping our customers' businesses running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems for commercial clients in Harris County
- Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and reliability
- Install new cooling and refrigeration components following manufacturer specifications
- Read technical schematics and service manuals to troubleshoot equipment problems
- Use specialized diagnostic tools to identify and resolve system faults
- Communicate with customers about repairs, maintenance needs, and system performance
- Document service visits and maintain accurate records
- Follow safety protocols and industry compliance standards
What We're Looking For
- Technical knowledge of HVAC/R systems, components, and operations
- EPA refrigeration certification or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated experience servicing light commercial HVAC/R equipment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and juggle multiple service calls

Compensation and Benefits
CoolSys offers hourly compensation of $35.00–$45.00 depending on experience, plus a sign-on bonus up to $5,000. You'll also receive industry-leading benefits that reflect our commitment to employee stability and long-term growth.
