Join The Dominguez Firm, LLP. as a Litigation Paralegal supporting our personal injury practice in Los Angeles. We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to manage case documentation, client coordination, and discovery across our active caseload on a full-time basis.
About the Role
The Dominguez Firm is building a stronger litigation support team, and we need a Litigation Paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced personal injury environment. You'll work directly with attorneys managing approximately 60 active personal injury cases at various stages of litigation. This role demands precision, strong organizational skills, and the ability to keep cases moving forward while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism.
What You'll Do
- Maintain detailed case files and legal documentation for personal injury matters
- Prepare and organize discovery requests, responses, and related materials
- Assist attorneys with motion preparation, pleadings, and court filings
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel throughout litigation
- Track deadlines and manage case calendars to ensure compliance with court rules
- Support trial preparation and attend court proceedings as needed
- Handle administrative tasks including billing, timekeeping, and case status updates
What We're Looking For
- Proven litigation experience supporting personal injury or civil cases
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with legal document management and litigation support software
- Ability to juggle multiple cases and competing priorities
- Professional demeanor when interacting with clients and court staff
- Familiarity with California court procedures and rules is a plus
