About the Role

As a Surgical Clinical Reviewer in our Pediatrics department, you will play a critical role in evaluating surgical cases, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, and supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives. Your clinical expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and departmental performance.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of pediatric surgical cases for quality, safety, and compliance with established standards
• Assess clinical documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Identify opportunities for improvement in surgical practices and outcomes
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to address findings and recommendations
• Participate in quality assurance and peer review processes
• Maintain detailed records and generate reports on clinical review findings
• Support the department's commitment to evidence-based surgical practice

What We're Looking For

• Current RN licensure in Mississippi
• Strong clinical knowledge of surgical nursing and pediatric care
• Experience in surgical settings or quality assurance preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and surgical staff
• Professional judgment and commitment to patient safety
• Proficiency with medical records and electronic health record systems
