Are you a skilled Labor & Delivery RN ready for your next travel assignment? Patterns Hiring is recruiting a Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a full-time position based in Allendale, Berkshire County, offering $2,916 per week.
About the Role
This travel nursing opportunity places an experienced RN in a busy Labor & Delivery unit for a 13-week contract. The schedule covers 36 hours each week across 12-hour day shifts, making it ideal for nurses who thrive in fast-paced maternity care environments and enjoy the variety of travel assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive, evidence-based nursing care to expectant mothers throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, recognizing and responding promptly to changes in condition.
- Support patients and families during birth, providing education and reassurance at every stage.
- Document care accurately, using Meditech Expanse where applicable.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the wider care team to ensure safe outcomes.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of recent, hands-on Labor & Delivery experience.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Current ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications.
- Familiarity with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred.
- Adaptability and confidence working in new clinical settings on a travel basis.
