About the Role

As a Travel LTC Physical Therapy Assistant with TheraEx Therapy, you will deliver hands-on rehabilitation within a long-term care and nursing environment in Naples, FL. Working under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist, you will help residents progress toward their mobility and recovery goals across a structured 13-week assignment scheduled at 40 hours per week, typically in 8-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist for long-term care residents.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility activities.
• Track patient progress, document outcomes accurately, and communicate updates to the care team.
• Set up equipment, prepare treatment areas, and ensure a safe, supportive environment for every resident.
• Support residents and their families with encouragement and clear instruction throughout each session.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Florida.
