About the Role
As part of the Community Enrichment Center - McPherson team, you will deliver high-quality living and community support tailored to each person's unique goals. Working across residential, employment, and community environments, you will teach, encourage, and empower individuals to make their own choices and thrive in their homes, at work, and throughout the McPherson community.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out individualized Person-Centered Support Plans for the people assigned to your care.
- Coach and assist individuals with daily living skills, building greater confidence and independence.
- Provide responsive, respectful support that adapts to each person's needs across residential, work, and community settings.
- Facilitate genuine choice and self-direction, helping people pursue their personal goals.
- Foster inclusion and participation within the local McPherson County community.
Qualifications
- A genuine commitment to supporting people with disabilities and promoting their independence.
- Patience, reliability, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to work hands-on across home, workplace, and community environments.
