Acadia Healthcare is hiring a part-time LPN Dispensing Nurse for our outpatient Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) in Brattleboro, Windham County. If you want purposeful nursing work paired with genuine work–life balance, this role was designed with you in mind.
About the Role
As an LPN Dispensing Nurse in Brattleboro, you'll support patients enrolled in our OTP by safely dispensing medication during early-morning clinic hours. This is a calm, structured outpatient setting — no bedside care and no heavy lifting — making it an excellent fit for licensed practical nurses who value stability and a predictable schedule. Shifts run Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 10:30 AM, leaving your late mornings, afternoons, and evenings free.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense MAT medications accurately and safely to patients in the Opioid Treatment Program
- Follow established clinical protocols and regulatory standards for medication handling and documentation
- Maintain clear, complete records for each patient interaction
- Support a respectful, recovery-focused environment for individuals in treatment
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations during dispensing hours
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- Availability for early-morning weekday shifts (5:30 AM – 10:30 AM, Monday–Friday)
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accurate medication dispensing
- A compassionate, non-judgmental approach to working with patients in recovery
- Comfort working in an outpatient, low-stress clinical environment
