Young Life is hiring part-time Mission Staff for its College ministry in Houston, Texas — a meaningful opportunity to invest in students' lives while serving alongside a faith-driven team in the greater Houston community.

About the Role

As Mission Staff for Houston Young Life College, you will help carry the heart of Young Life onto local college campuses, building authentic relationships with students and walking with them through this formative season of life. This is a part-time, on-site position based in Houston, Texas, ideal for someone who is relational, mission-minded, and energized by working with young adults.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop genuine, caring relationships with college students across the Houston area.
• Support and help lead Young Life College ministry gatherings, events, and outreach.
• Mentor and disciple students, encouraging their personal and spiritual growth.
• Partner with local volunteers, leaders, and staff to advance the mission.
• Represent Young Life with integrity, warmth, and a heart for service.

Qualifications

• A passion for relational ministry and for connecting with college-aged students.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to serve in an on-site capacity within Houston, Texas.
• Alignment with the values and mission of Young Life.
