About the Role

As a Regulatory Specialist II within the Office of Clinical Trials, you will report to the Accelerated Study Start-Up Program Manager and act as a go-to regulatory partner for investigators across an assigned set of clinical divisions. This on-site position in Druid, Maryland is central to moving commercially sponsored clinical studies efficiently from launch through ongoing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary regulatory point of contact for faculty conducting clinical research.
  • Manage a dedicated portfolio of clinical divisions and their principal investigators.
  • Coordinate the start-up of commercially sponsored clinical trials to help accelerate study activation.
  • Support the continued regulatory upkeep of active studies throughout their lifecycle.
  • Partner with the Accelerated Study Start-Up Program Manager and study teams to keep documentation and compliance on track.

Qualifications

  • Background and experience in clinical research regulatory affairs appropriate for a Regulatory Specialist II level.
  • Familiarity with the start-up and ongoing maintenance of commercially sponsored clinical trials.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a portfolio of investigators and divisions simultaneously.
  • Collaborative communication skills for working across faculty, sponsors, and program leadership.
