About the Role
As an Experiential Graphic Designer at Gresham Smith, you'll translate ideas into the visual language of place—merging graphic design, architecture, and environmental storytelling to help shape healthy, thriving communities. This is a full-time, on-site position in Nashville, Tennessee, working alongside multidisciplinary teams within our Life and Work Places Market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop experiential graphics, environmental branding, and wayfinding concepts that bring built spaces to life.
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and planners to integrate visual narratives into the physical environment.
- Produce design documentation, presentations, and visual studies that communicate ideas to clients and project stakeholders.
- Support projects from initial concept through fabrication, ensuring design intent is carried through every phase.
- Contribute fresh, original thinking that reflects our spirit of Genuine Ingenuity.
Qualifications
- A background in graphic design, environmental graphic design, or a related visual discipline.
- A strong portfolio showing experiential, branding, or wayfinding work within physical spaces.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design and visualization tools.
- The ability to collaborate effectively across architecture and design teams.
- A passion for craft, storytelling, and human-centered design.
