About the Role
This is a full-time, in-office Family Law Attorney position based in Midlothian, Virginia. As a member of the WhitbeckBeglis team, you will guide clients through some of the most sensitive moments of their lives, delivering high-caliber legal counsel across family law and closely related practice areas while building lasting, trust-based relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent and advise clients in family law matters with diligence, empathy, and sound legal judgment.
- Prepare pleadings, motions, agreements, and related legal documents to a high professional standard.
- Provide skilled advocacy in negotiations, hearings, and courtroom proceedings on behalf of clients.
- Manage a caseload independently while collaborating with attorneys and support staff across the firm.
- Uphold the firm's standards of excellence, integrity, and responsive client service at every stage of a matter.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and in good standing.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in family law and related areas of practice.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to advocate persuasively.
- A collaborative, client-focused approach paired with a commitment to continued professional development.
