About the Role

This Assistant Girls Volleyball Coach position works directly alongside the Head Coach to lead and develop our junior varsity, B-squad, and 9A/9B teams. Based in the United States at Champlin Park High School, the role runs through an Extra Service Agreement, with an anticipated start date of August 17, 2026, and a season that keeps you actively engaged during the school's competitive calendar.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head Coach in planning and running effective practices and games.
• Coach across the JV, B, and 9A/9B levels, helping athletes build skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Commit to a schedule of roughly 5 to 6 days each week, primarily during afternoon and evening hours.
• Foster a positive, encouraging environment that reflects the values of the district's athletic program.

Qualifications

• Prior experience coaching volleyball is preferred.
• Availability to be present for weekday afternoon and evening practices and competitions.
• Completion of all required Anoka-Hennepin School District application steps and coaching clearances.
• A genuine enthusiasm for mentoring young female athletes and growing the volleyball program.
