North Fork Local School District is hiring a Boys Basketball Assistant Coach to help lead and develop student-athletes at Utica High School and Middle School. Three coaching positions are open for the upcoming season.

About the Role

As a Boys Basketball Assistant Coach with North Fork Local School District in the United States, you will support the head coach in building a competitive, character-driven basketball program at Utica HS/MS. This is a full-time, on-site athletics and activities position centered on guiding athletes through practices, games, and skill development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in planning and running practices, drills, and game-day strategy for the boys basketball program.
• Help instruct student-athletes on fundamentals, conditioning, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Mentor players and reinforce positive academic and personal standards on and off the court.
• Support team supervision, equipment management, and event logistics at Utica High School and Middle School.
• Promote a safe, disciplined, and encouraging environment for athlete growth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basketball coaching methods, rules, and player development.
• Strong communication and leadership skills suited to working with student-athletes.
• Commitment to athlete safety, eligibility standards, and district expectations.
• Coaching credentials and certifications as required for interscholastic athletics.
