Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehab

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist in Inpatient Rehab at VHC Health, you will deliver patient-centered care in line with the professional standards of occupational therapy practice. Working on-site in Seven Corners, Virginia, you will assess each assigned patient, design individualized treatment plans, and guide patients toward their recovery goals following the department's rehabilitation procedures and operational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients assigned to your caseload.
• Develop measurable goals and structured treatment plans consistent with established rehabilitation procedures and operational guidelines.
• Deliver occupational therapy interventions that support patient progress and functional independence.
• Assign tasks to and oversee supportive personnel, providing direction and supervision as needed.
• Document care and collaborate with the inpatient rehabilitation team to promote positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified and credentialed to practice as an Occupational Therapist within the profession's standard of practice.
• Ability to perform thorough patient evaluations and establish appropriate goals and plans of treatment.
• Experience or interest in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Capacity to delegate responsibilities and supervise support staff effectively.
• Availability for a part-time schedule on-site in Seven Corners, Virginia.
