Watson Clinic is seeking a dedicated LPN Specialist or Medical Assistant Specialist to join our Sleep Center on a part-time basis in Gibsonia, Polk County, Florida. About the Role

As an LPN or Medical Assistant Specialist within our Sleep Center, you will play a hands-on role in supporting patients throughout their care journey. This part-time position combines clinical assessment, patient communication, and education to ensure every individual receives attentive, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient concerns through telephone triage, determining appropriate next steps based on clinical needs.
• Prepare and administer medications, including injections, and accurately record all medications given or ordered by the supervising physician.
• Pinpoint educational needs for patients and their families, then deliver clear, practical guidance and instruction.
• Identify and respond appropriately to patient situations as they arise, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in line with clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or certification as a Medical Assistant.
• Comfort performing telephone triage and assessing patient needs remotely.
• Familiarity with medication administration, including injections, and proper documentation practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients and family members effectively.
• A detail-oriented, compassionate approach to patient care in a clinic environment.
