Business Development Representative, Charter and Private Schools – BuyQ

BuyQ, a CoreTrust company, is hiring a full-time Business Development Representative, Charter and Private Schools in Nashville, Tennessee, to help education leaders unlock the savings and support of a purpose-built group purchasing organization.

About the Role

As a Business Development Representative for Charter and Private Schools at BuyQ, you will grow membership and engagement among school leaders across the charter and private education sector. Reporting to the President of BuyQ, you will introduce administrators to compliant, pre-negotiated supplier agreements and the hands-on guidance that help schools save both time and money. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Nashville, Tennessee.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and connect with charter and private school decision-makers to expand BuyQ's membership base.
• Communicate how BuyQ's pre-negotiated, compliant purchasing contracts deliver measurable cost and time savings.
• Build lasting relationships with school leaders and provide responsive, hands-on support.
• Partner with internal teams to align BuyQ's education expertise with each school's procurement needs.
• Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and report on outreach and growth progress.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship management, ideally within education, procurement, or related services.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate value into clear outcomes for school leaders.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, comfortable managing outreach independently.
• Familiarity with charter and private school operations or group purchasing is a plus.
• Willingness to work on-site in Nashville, Tennessee.
