Key Responsibilities

• Direct the quality control program across active federal construction projects, verifying that workmanship and materials satisfy specifications.
• Act as the on-site Site Safety and Health Officer, owning day-to-day safety oversight and compliance.
• Identify, document, and resolve quality and safety deficiencies before they affect schedule or outcomes.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and reporting to keep work accountable and audit-ready.
• Champion a culture of safety and accountability among crews, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on background managing quality control on construction projects, ideally within the federal sector.
• Qualified to perform Site Safety and Health Officer duties, with a strong command of construction safety practices.
• Comfortable wearing two hats and balancing quality and safety responsibilities on a single site.
• Detail-oriented communicator who can document findings and drive corrective action.
• Available to work full-time, on-site in the North Charleston, South Carolina area.
