Youth Sports Instructor

Amazing Athletes is hiring a Youth Sports Instructor to teach and inspire young athletes in the Erie area. This is a part-time position based in Northern Colorado, serving the communities of Longmont, Firestone, Frederick, and Erie.

About the Role

As a Youth Sports Instructor, you'll lead dynamic, hands-on classes for children ages 1.5 to 12, making sports fun while building foundational athletic skills. You'll plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons that introduce kids to different sports, movement fundamentals, and the joy of physical activity. This is direct-impact teaching where you shape how young people experience fitness and teamwork for the first time.

What You'll Do

• Teach basic sports skills, movement techniques, and athletic fundamentals to mixed-age groups
• Design engaging, safe class activities that keep children motivated and learning
• Create an encouraging environment where every child feels confident trying new things
• Demonstrate proper form, positioning, and game rules clearly and with enthusiasm
• Manage classroom energy, behavior, and safety during all activities
• Build children's confidence, resilience, and love of movement and sports
• Communicate progress and observations with parents as needed

What We're Looking For

• Genuine passion for working with young children in an active, outdoor or gym setting
• Prior experience teaching, coaching, or working with kids (school, sports, camps, or similar)
• Solid grasp of basic youth sports and fitness principles
• Patience, energy, and the ability to engage children of different ages and abilities
• Clear communication skills and a positive, encouraging teaching style
• Reliability and flexibility with a part-time schedule
