What This Role Involves

Zarach is a children’s bed charity dedicated to ending child bed poverty and providing children with the opportunity to engage at school. As a Family Engagement Officer in Yorkshire, you will be part of our mission to break the cycle of poverty by engaging families and communities.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Engage directly with families affected by child bed poverty.
• Coordinate community events and activities aimed at raising awareness about Zarach’s mission.
• Collaborate with local businesses, schools, and other organizations to secure support for our initiatives.
• Collect data on the impact of our programs and report findings to stakeholders.

What You Bring

• A passion for helping children and families in need.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• The ability to build strong relationships with community partners.
• Demonstrated experience working within charitable organizations or similar environments.
• An understanding of the challenges faced by those living in poverty, particularly regarding access to basic needs like beds for children.
