The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Leading Hand (Despatch) to join our Supply Chain team at Optimal Recruitment Pty Ltd. This is a full-time position based in the Northern Beaches of Sydney, offering a competitive salary with bonus opportunities and significant staff discounts.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations within the warehouse, ensuring smooth despatch processes.
• Manage team performance, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards are met.
• Ensure all safety protocols and quality control measures are adhered to.
• Coordinate with other departments to streamline logistics and improve efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a warehouse leadership role, preferably within the professional audio, visual, broadcast, musical instrument, or communication solutions industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and despatch procedures.
