About This Position
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our full-time, permanent team at the Gore clinic. Reporting directly to the Head Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral part of ensuring that our hospital and surgery run smoothly. Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during consultations and procedures
- Care for hospitalized animals, including administering medications and treatments
- Perform routine examinations and diagnostic testing
- Support the overall operation of the clinic, maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide excellent patient care
What We're Looking For
- A registered Veterinary Nurse with current registration in New Zealand
- Experience working in a veterinary clinic is preferred but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient and detail-oriented
- A passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing high-quality care
