Truck Driver Owner Operator - OTR
About This Position
We are seeking experienced owner operators to join our team of professional drivers at Forward Air. As a Truck Driver Owner Operator, you will be responsible for driving dry van trailers across the country in an Over-the-Road (OTR) capacity. You must have a Class A Commercial Driver’s License with one year of experience and be prepared to maintain your truck while ensuring it is always ready for the road.

What You'll Do
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Pick up and deliver freight to various locations across the country
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and any issues encountered during transport
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to commercial driving
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks to keep your truck in top condition
Requirements
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- One year of over-the-road driving experience
- A clean driving record and a valid DOT physical
- Prior experience as an owner operator or desire to become one
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
